The Mountaineer Week Arts & Craft Fair is a juried event, held indoors in the Mountainlair Ballrooms in the heart of WVU's downtown campus. A panel of jurors will select the participants based on cultural qualifications, artistic quality, craft ubiquity and manufacturing criteria. All work must be original. We will not accept commercially produced or direct sales items. Eligible work includes all media of original fine arts and crafts, prints, edibles and beverages.

Your application must include either digital pictures of your work or actual samples. If you have more than one type of craft, you must submit photos/samples for each type (i.e. paintings and edibles; woodwork and wearables). Please provide at least three (but no more than five) photos/samples of your work and one photo of your booth display. Digital photos may be uploaded to this application. No application fee is required.

Selected artisans will be invoiced a flat fee of $80.00. WVU will provide one approximate 10' x 8' booth with table, chairs, and peg board; access badges; hospitality room with light snacks; overnight security; event promotion; event management staff and access to parking.

Artisans must be present for the entire fair and artisan booths must be staffed at all times.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 12, 2023

Results will be finalized and acceptance notifications sent on May 3, 2023.
