2026 Mountaineer Week Arts & Craft Fair hours:

The Mountaineer Week Arts & Craft Fair is a juried event, held indoors in the WVU Mountainlair in the heart of WVU's downtown campus. A panel of jurors will select the participants based on craftsmanship/artistic skill, originality and cultural significance.
- Craftsmanship/Artistic Skill: Items are crafted and finished seamlessly. Quality of items is worthy of sale/purchase. Mastery of medium is evident.
- Originality: Shows creativity, innovation and diversity in design, method and materials.
- Cultural Significance: There is use of traditional Appalachian methods, materials, language, design, or media and/or reference to Appalachian culture/values.
Your application must include either digital pictures of your work or actual samples. If you wish to sell more than one type of item, you must submit photos/samples for each type (i.e. paintings and edibles; woodwork and wearables). Please provide five photos/samples of your work and one photo of your booth display. No application fee is required.
Selected artisans will be invoiced a flat registration fee of $80.00. This fee includes one booth space approximately 10' x 8' with table and chairs, access badges, hospitality room with light snacks, overnight security, event promotion, event management staff and parking access.
