The Art Museum of WVU is hosting a Mountaineer Week event inspired by Appalachian artmaking through the ages! You can make basket crafts inspired by traditional folk art of the region and abstract art in the style of the home-grown artists on display in our “Evolving Visions: A Century of Women Artists Working in Abstraction” exhibit.

5:30 p.m. | Guided tour to explore Appalachian artists’ role in modern art movements.
