Most Loyal Staff Mountaineer
Please nominate the person or persons you believe to be worthy of a Most Loyal award, keeping in mind we wish to recognize those who are loyal to WVU and West Virginia, and have given generously of their time and resources. An individual may be nominated in only one category. If you have submitted a nomination in previous years and your nominee did not receive the award, he or she will automatically be considered again this year. Recipients must be able to attend the WVU vs. Oklahoma football game Nov. 12.

Eligibility
Harvey and Jennifer Peyton are the 2002 Most Loyal West Virginians. This
award goes to an individual who exemplifies faithfulness to the person, ideals,
and goals of the State of West Virginia through business, professional and civic
achievement and support of West Virginia University. The recipient must be
a resident of the State of West Virginia. The recipient shall have shown loyalty
to the State of West Virginia
and/or West Virginia University through business, professional or civic achievements.
The recipient should be a generous supporter of the West Virginia University
Foundation. The recipient cannot be a member of the Order of Vandalia.
Lloyd Jackson is the 2022 M ost Loyal Alumni Mountaineer. This award goes
to an alumnus who exemplifies faithfulness to the person, ideals, and goals
of West Virginia University and exhibits support of its activities, initiatives
and operations through leadership and service to the institution. The recipient may
or may not be a resident of the State of West Virginia, but must be an alumnus
of West Virginia University. The recipient shall have shown loyalty to West
Virginia University through leadership and service to the University’s activities,
initiatives and operations. The recipient cannot be a member of the Order of Vandalia.
Jennifer Williams is the 2022 Most Loyal Faculty/Professional Staff Mountaineer.
This award goes to
an individual who is a current member of the faculty or professional staff who
exemplifies faithfulness to the persons, ideals and goals of West Virginia University,
and exhibits support of its activities, initiatives and operations through leadership
and service to the institution. The recipient is not required to be a resident
of the State of West Virginia. The recipient must be a current full-time member
of the faculty or professional staff of West Virginia University. The recipient must
have shown loyalty to West Virginia University through leadership and service
to the University’s activities, initiatives and operations beyond the normal
expectations of their employment.
Cathy Martin is 2022
Most Loyal Staff Mountaineer. This award goes to an individual who
is a current member of the classified staff who exemplifies faithfulness to the
persons, ideals and goals of West Virginia University, and exhibits support of
its activities, initiatives and operations through leadership and service to the
institution. The recipient is not required to be a resident of the State of West
Virginia. The recipient must be a current full-time member of the classified staff
of West Virginia University. The recipient must have shown loyalty to West Virginia
University through leadership and service to the University’s activities, initiatives
and operations beyond the normal expectations of their employment.
