Printmaking Demonstration by Caitlynn Buckler

mock up of the Mountaineer Week tote bag made by traditional screen printing

Nov. 5-6 | Mountainlair Commons
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Originally used as a form of communication, printmaking is a valued artistic medium with unique technical qualities. To make a print, the artist typically creates an image on a flat surface. The surface is then inked and pressed onto paper to create an original print.

Watch local artist Caitlynn Buckler print our one-of-a-kind Mountaineer Week tote bags with a printmaking method called screen-printing. Take one home with you as a Mountaineer Week keepsake. (Quantities are limited. First-come; first-served.)
