The Weevils

Emerging out of a friendship forged by fiddling, The Weevils harness the power of the song. Each of them songwriters in their own right, their collaborative arrangements of twin (and sometimes triple) fiddles and tight vocal harmonies weave a tapestry that tells a story along with the lyrics. And you’ll sometimes hear them perform a traditional bluegrass or old-time number for good measure. The Weevils are Gray Buchanan (Hillbilly Biscuits, The Starlight Darlins), Mary Linscheid (The Wild Shoats), and Claire Silbernagel (Sweaty Hands String Band, Bear Essentials).
