Mountaineer Week Craft Fair & Quilt Show

The Mountaineer Week Craft Fair is an indoor, juried Craft Fair. It features fine quality Appalachian handcrafted objects by over 60 artisans from West Virginia and surrounding states. The Mountaineer Week Quilt Show is sponsored by the Country Roads Quilt Guild.

The Craft Fair & Quilt Show is the centerpiece of Mountaineer Week. Both events can be found on the 2nd Floor of the Mountainlair, WVU’s student union.

You are required to submit five (5) photos or a disk of digital pictures of your work or actual samples of your work. The crafts will be judged on the basis of design, craftsmanship, creativity and the number of crafts per category. If you have more than one type of craft you must submit work for each type (i.e. paintings and edibles; woodwork and wearables.)
There is no fee for applying to the Mountaineer Week Craft Fair.

Deadlines

Please submit your application and materials by June 1, 2008.
Those accepted/not accepted will receive notification by the first week of July.
